I bought six antique silver-plated forks in the Queens pattern at a flea market in London years ago and haven't completed the set. I now blend those forks with the Queens flatware set. The antique forks look better than the flatware, but many might not notice the difference since they only use the forks. Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered these as a gift for my mom. She got them and said the box was full of metal chips and the finish on the silverware was covered in chips/pits. She said it looked like the shiny coating was chipping off and falling into the box. She said the chipped places were dark as if the silverware was actually made of lead. I don't even understand how that's possible given they are supposed to be stainless steel, not plated. This was embarrassing. We returned them.

This is a higher end flatware set, well suited to fine china / elegant tabletops. Every piece is substantial in weight and beautifully designed. Very nice set.
Not continental sized, and almost too formal for every day - however that does depend on preference. We use this collection exclusively for entertaining.
