All in all this is a solid toddler bed. I just received it today, it comes in a huge box, don't be surprised if the box looks like it walked in front of a firing squad, i was actually a bit concerned in the treatment UPS gave it. In total the structure is 8 pieces and there are 2 wood planks that make up the floor of it. The plastic is typical of what would be on a Cozy Coupe, very durable. Decals rule the realm with this bed and really make it Pop...The rocket boosters are a cool effect which my son loves. I took a gamble buying this since i couldn't get accurate specs on the length of the fins, but from measuring it each wing adds 11 1/2 inches to each side of the fuselage, so this does take up space, but they add a cool look to it. It takes a crib mattress and sits about 11" off the floor with mattress installed, great for a transition from a crib. With a carpeted floor i dont' have to worry to much about him hurting himself falling out. The hardware sent with the bed was all correct, there were enough screws and bolts with none to spare, although there were left over washers. Final conclusion i am happy i purchased it, it looks cool and the most important thing is my son loves it, with a toy story bedding set it looks amazing.

I bought this bed for my 2 year old son for his birthday and he LOVED it. I really believe that had we purchased just a regular ol' bed he wouldn't have been so willing to sleep in it. But the idea of sleeping in a Buzz bed was the coolest. It sits good and low to the ground so on the off chance that he does manage to fall out of bed (which I don't think he will) it's not going to be a bad fall. I love it being made out of this plastic instead of wood or sharp pieces of metal, so while playing on it or around it I don't have to really worry about him hurting himself on the bed. I just love everything about it and I'm glad we got this. Now, I just hope the Toy Story phase lasts a while. :-D

the buzz lightyear little tikes bed is awesome. any kid is going to love this bed. when putting on stickers be careful cause once you put them on they wont come off. they have a glue like substance that comes off the sticker if peeled after stuck on.
